and ready on a beautiful day in June 1970 when we celebrated graduation.
Funny how in the foggy and faulty remembrance through all the
intervening years some memories are clear as if right now.    Stan Thompson

The past DOES come back to haunt us, doesn't it !?! I just got back from a trip to Tampa to help my Mom out. she had surgery for a prolapse of the bowel,bladder and uterus and needed someone to do all the daily chores we take for granted (laundry, cooking, cleaning,grocery shopping,etc.). I also got corralled into painting her living room, doing lawn and gardening work, hedge trimming, car maintenance (yeah, me of ALL people) and just general stuff. I did a lot of..."What are you doing !!! Sit down and let me do that!!!". But I guess it's the least I could do for her...she did all those things for me for a lot of years.  Sorry I'll miss the reunion but I'll try my best to keep the 40th on my schedule...
